Old Jan Sangh was considered as a party of disciplined / honest politicians. However the present BJP has become a party of power hungry politicians. Is it a fact? Why this transformation?

Old Jan Sangh was disciplined under the leadership of many leaders including Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya, Balraj Madhok, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Even the Swathantra party leader C. Rajagopalachari also had supported the party on every issue at that time.

Leaders like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Dindayal Upadhyaya, Balraj Madhok, Atal Bihari Vajpayee have inculcated values & have given an honest shape to politics through Jansangh, But with the passage of time and tasting of the power in brief 2 rems by BJP leaders transformed them into self seeking cheap money hankers like Congress Hounds .... yet if I were to choose between 2 bad parties like congress & BJP I must choose BJP, for the fact there is no Idol worship like Congress ppl worship Sonia....

Its half truth.
I think only BJP and communist parties do not strugglee to make any perticular family face to rule the nation as privat propeerty, yet jansangh was more regid to her principles, but then, politically that could not have attracted so-much support.
