The indian Govt has imported 3 new aeroplanes which r similar to US president's Air force One and also now they have ordered 12 new helicopters from a British company ? Do u think this spending of millions of Rs is justified for VIP travel ?

Dude if u want u r VVIP's to be secure the best thing to do is to purchase a bloody C-130 or a Antonov gunship. These lo flying "mobile artillery" gunship aircraft can withstand AAA fire and even light artillery shells.
As for VVIP helicopters, NOTHING is more secure than an MI-24 HIND helicopter, which our country already uses. That helicopter is designed for taking heavy punishment and can even take a Stinger hit, provided the critical systems don't get hit.
A gunship is best for plane as far as safety goes and for heli's nothing beats an MI-24 HIND.
I don' think these kind of purchases are for "security"....just that someone in govt founds Octavio Quatarrouchi Part II it looks like :D
Remember in 1980s how the Govt tried to tell us that we needed a bunch of hi tech Swiss guns to beat up those Kashmiri terrorists and remember what happened (bofors scandal) ? ? ? Just wait 20 more years for "Great Helicopter Scandal" to show up in newspaper....
Any guesses on the ...more
