Q.
Umpiring is a difficult and tedious task. Umpires have an eagles eye to watch and predict everything with in a second. but my question is India being a powerful lobby in ICC , why no indians are in elite panel of umpiring after S. Venkatraghavan? are we not producing a good umpires? or ICC is turning blind eye to our umpires.

I think the performance of our umpires has not been consistent. Jayaprakash had a chance, but he did not live up to the expectation. hariharan started off promisingly but faded away. let us not blame ICC, i think we are short of good, competent and consistent umpires.
