Darul Uloom Deoband has emphasised that it is unlawful for Muslim women to work in government/private sectors where men and women work together and women have to talk with men frankly and without a veil. (TOI news)
Will this in any manner (1) impact the demand for reservation quota for Muslim women in parliament (2) reduce, to some extent, the competition for jobs for non-Muslim women?
Just bringing Fatwa on restriction on Muslim Women to work in main stream economy is NOT AN EASY STATEMENT. It is more important on the political complexities. Now there will be a raise on reservation on resourses for the Muslim Community irrespective of Gender. There is aheading a huge change in Women in main stream Economy. Some how.. I am getting a good feeling for a better society with this decision..
