Q.
As per media reports, Govt authorities in Karnatake has said that they are scared to take action against the culprits who are allegedly responsible for the suicide of a minor girl in Mangalore as it may give rise to a back lash from rightist Hindu groups. In other words this is an open admission that they cannot take care of law and order which is the prime responsibility of the Govt, as per the constitution. Is it not sufficient reason for the Govt. to quit or to impose President's Rule?

This is all creation of the media, had it not reported a week back that a daughter of an MLA from Kerala was kidnapped, and later on it turned out to be that the workers of DYFI were responsible, once that fact came out the media is silent, and still not opened its mouth. Has the government said so.

A writ of mandamus in the high court or supreme court would make them work head over heels.,The governor has to submit his report to the president ,which is a controversial one . no government would quit on its own.
