Not really but we all have our ego and we all know our ego has a vociferous appetite , the more we feed , more hungry it becomes.Specially for our near and dear ones , such attitude becomes a self killing and self defeating style . It is better to lose our pride for someone we love rather than to lose that someone we love with our useless pride
Of course , we must not hurt our own conscience . Personally , first I try for an win - win , if it fails , I go for a respectful compromise and if still it's not successful, it's then no deal and we can talk again in other convenient time but I never ever close the relation by stopping the talking term
