Yes, they were not on anybody's mind or list to win the tournament but came in as the most unexpected one to win it. They had the most tight matches with qualifying by the super over & then raising their performance in the semi finals to oust Australia & today they didnt play that well but held their nerves in the crucial moments to win the match & the tournament which was fantastic to watch. It is a positive for the game of cricket as West Indies bring the colour of excitement to make it a great sport to view!!

Before the start of the tournament West Indies were labelled as favorites in the tournament. But they had some very close matches, they tied against New Zealand and won in the super over, they even lost to Sri Lanka in the super eight. But yes hats off to the West Indies as they played their best game from semi-final onwards.
