Sri means Laxmi, and Sundar(beautiful) too ..... Srinivas means , house of Laxmi and the House of Beautiness too ....... Srinivas refers too Lord Vishnu who is the husband of Mata Laxmi and that is the real House of Laxmi Maa ...... ........

'Sri' means mainly Lakshmi, goddess of wealth or 'aachaar' fine behaviour in d Hindu pantheon: so d word Srinivas means d person or place where Lakshmi dwells
