There is no point in comparing Nano with a Honda car. i guess honda small car will not be losin customers to Nano but msotly to Maruti & Hyundai as they have similar segments. But Honda name itself says alot and its one of best reliable brand. if they hit right with price then theres nothing to worry about and the car will be a definite success.

Well firstly the Tata Nano is in a completly different segment. Its price ranges from around Rs 1.10 Lakhs to about 2 lakhs. The Rs 4 lakh segment is a different segment all together. Here you have the Ritz, i10, Wagon R, Santro, Spark, Swift, Tata Indica, Fiat Palio, Fiat Punto, Maruti Estilo, A-Star etc. The Chevrolet Beat is the latest car to be launched in the Rs 4 Lakh Segment. If they make a good product at the right price point there is no doubt they will be sucessful considering the fact that Honda is a well respected brand. However this segment is all set to get even more competitive because Bajaj, Toyota, Volkswagen Nissan and Ford all are planning to launch a new car in this segment.

A 4 lakhs category will come under B category, which is prefered by the upper middle class.NANO is the car for beginners. So,as both categories have different categories of buyers,it would be unfair to compare NANO, a one lakh car with a car costing 4 lakhas.
