Nirbhayas' brother/ kin offered job and flat - I mean what's going on ?? - should the kin take such monetary benifity's ?? - isn't it a shallow act on part of Sonia gandhi ?? - isn't punishment to the rapist's first prefrence ??

They must be hanged first & that should be the priority. Job & shelter should be offered ONLY if victim's family was dependent only on her otherwise it may start a bad practice & wrong example.

Kith and kin of EVERY person who is murdered or mowed down under the wheels of their car or whose throats are slit by deadly manja etc. etc. ought to be helped by the Government and society most generously. Rape victims (and many other victims of horrific crime against them) also need to be helped monetarily and with all medical assistance immediately to help them come out of the suffering/trauma they go through. Just a couple of month's back I saw an episode in Crime Patrol where a young girl (Sonali) was disfigured by some hoodlums who poured acid on her. It was such a pathetic sight to see this lively young girl disfigured beyond recognition. Her father spent whatever he had for her treatment while the 3 goons have been released on bail. It is now ten years since this gruesome incident took place with hardly any noise made by the press or society at large. The culprits will certainly meet their nemesis ! And, to help the victim's dependents is a moral obligation by the state on humanitarian grounds. But this rule should be followed in other such cases too !

Punishment/humiliation on a larger basis is required first. They brought her pain and now our tax money is feeding, clothing, and housing them. This is so wrong.
