Mr. Master Blaster fails to perform once again & helps the host to take a clean big sweep.
Excellent work! Happy to see that once again we tumbled to an awful lose against the Kangaroos & back to the original position; where we had started the tour. This was another big defeat; just because of one persons involvement Mr. Master Blaster. Unless this man is in the team we will continue the same way. No matter he has been the father of the world cricket with unique records and winning performances. However, the present cannot be ignored. He is going through the worst conditions and we are still continuing his position in the team. This match, he took a catch and scored just 3 runs. If there was a new face we could have had a different innings and would had a new young face. Why he is not been dropped out of the team forever and given chances to the new young faces, waiting for opportunities. We cant be dependent on one man forever who is on the verge of retirement. He too being a respect ...more

Everybody is entitled to his opinion :)
But one thing i can say regarding to our arm chair experts. Please remember Bishan Singh Bedi's words "People not worthy of tying the shoelaces of these cricketers have started to dissect their performances" :)

Copied from another user in Rediff:
And with no pun intended at Kapil Paaji, dont we all know the proverb, "the starving are laughing at the toothless".

From Jan-93 to Jan-94, Kapil played 17 ODIs grabbing only 16 wickets!!
In the same duration, he played 15 innings and scored 404 runs @ 26.9!!
He scored 141 from 12 innings @ 14.1 in ODIs.
Yet Kapil dint retire before Oct-94. Now, he is calling for Sachin's head, funny indeed!! ...more

Kapil Dev has shown the courage at last !!!!!
So, far we have been hearing only one thing, which was voiced by all especially the BCCI, ..."Sachin will take his own decision, when he feels like retiring".
People were afraid of telling him that "look bro! Tumcha retire hone ka wakat aa gayela hai! Aata asaa karaa... bat geet taka khaali ani ghari jaa:"
And we have Australian stalwarts like Ponting saying (its in news papers) "I am lucky if I am selected for the next match! Thou I am fit for playing"

It does not mean if Kapil says. I think people are becomimg allergic to Sachin's name. People have had too much of him especially since they found how much favourable coaching he got at the expanse of India and other Indian players just because he is shiv sainik. Sachin, GET LOST.

No none is indispensable in the world. Neither Sachin nor Kapil. Both are known for their nasty lust for money. Kapil hanged on for two years extra to get his last few wickets to cross Richard Hadlee's haul of 431 wickets. He did not mind blocking Srinath's entry into the team in this process. He was indifferent to such criticism. Now he is prescribing what to do. Sachin was very critical of Kapil at that stage. Now it is Sachin's turn to remain indifferent to what critics say. Sachin stopped performing from last two years. It is only for his 100th hundred that he again made himself available for one dayers. History is repeating itself.

Both men are greedy for money and personal records and behaving identically. They are really qualified to criticize each other. Beside money and personal records they know nothing.
