Why Tata cars are unpopular? Are they technologically poor? Are they lack the style? Are the quality not up to mark? Please share your views.

The main reason is the service and spares availability. When you own a Maruthi, the service available across the country is fine and the cost of spares ,when compared to any other vehicle is low.But Tata products are lgging behind in both these aspects. But even if they are not the most popular brand they are very popular and I disagree with your view that the are unpopular.

I observed that too, Considering total number of cars, TATA vehicles dont seem to be making an impact as they should. I have heard from many folks that they require maintenance and over a period of time, start making funny noises... seems to be not too far fetched, while on my current visit to India, I traveled in lots of cabs, and my observation was Indigo has the best leg space (rear seat) in any sedan Indian or imported) but is a bit bumpy (Shocks need a go over). Aesthetically they are not that good too(Barring Jag, its one of the most elegant vehicles in world). While the worst in most aspects was (Regrettably an Indian car) Mahindra reno(Lots of squeaking noise, tiny space, bumpy, ugly)
