I have never any doubt that Narendra Modi was far far above Rahul Gandhi as a political person. If the quality as a wily politician has to be the yardstick of being a Prime Ministerial candidate, Modi is way ahead from his projected rival in terms of image
But the problem facing the country is that if Rahul Gandhi, in spite of being the number to 2 person in the 127 year old premier party of India, he is still a rank outsider as a politician in Indian political context. Whereas, Modi is just a Chief Minister who worked hard for his State. I am not ready to give Modi the tag of Development icon. Outside Gujarat what is he? Can a Prime Minister be busy with corporates only? We know, the TIME magazine have certified him as the best Chief Minister. And about Rahul Gandhi, only this much can be said, delhi was th ho ...more
