You will have to give entrance exams for engg like IIT JEE ,aieee, cet. If you are planning to give these exams, you may consider taking up coaching classes from an institute like ACE which offers full time and crash courses .

Eligibility to take admission for 1st year engg is class 12 th pass i.e. higher secondary or intermediate pass. Then one has to appear of JEE exam for IIT and AIEEE exam for admission in NIT's or UP tech exam for private engineering colleges etc.
