Fitness is four fold. Physical fitness, Mental fitness, Intellectual fitness and Social fitness. For physical fitness there should be enough physical exercise, balanced diet and sufficient sleep (six to eight hours sleep a day as per the age). For Mental fitness drive away isolation, read philospphic books and develop positive thinking with self confidence. For Intellectual fitness there should be a daily check of your level in your knowledge field. Always update your knowledge of your field. At the same time try to acquire a good amount of knowledge of other fields also to a maximum possible extent. Self assessment is the best assessment. Assess yourself as a third person. You can enrich yourself. The last one social fitness. Have concern for your fellow men. Learn to work together. Learn to move together.
This leads to your ultimate fitness and success.
Wish you all the best!

Such a question invites answers from people who know nothing about human phsusiology. Is very easy to swim.,walk, eat less, etc. Complete fitness means not an absence of diase but overall- physical and mental well being. Eat well to satiate your hunger, but maintain a fine balance of time, carbohydrates and proteins.
Keep your mind stress free.

Firstly keeping our selves fit, 50% of dieting should be done & 50% it shouldn't be done!! I think that during afternoon, we eat a lot of yummy items. But then these yummy items help's us in increase in our weight!! So, firstly in breakfast we should have JUICE or fruits. In lunch we should have vegeterian food but less spicy & in dinner eat any of the vegetables but that too fried. Like:fried palak slices which is just fried and without oil,no butter,no cheese .Specially do PRANAYAM!! O.K. then BYE!!!

Health & Fitness is first categorized in two parts:
1) For a common man or Material Fitness &
2) For People with devotion to real Fitness

For common man or Material Fitness:
---------------------------------------------------
1) Exercise so that your body is heated and cooled once in 24 hours. Body is made up of 3/4 of fluid, and like most fluid to be kept in good shape needs to be heated once a day like you heat and cool the milk if you dont have a refrigerator.
2) Avoid (Rather dont eat) junk food. Eat healthy food and drink as much of water as possible to flush the junk stuck into your system. Avoid Spices in the food to the extent you can. Be a vegetarian. Avoid bread and other stuff like those. Avoid chemical or synthetic drinks, drink juices of fresh fruits, butter milk and healthy drink like those. This stuff also tastes good like the synthetic drinks.
4) Have a proper and scheduled sleep (6 to 10 hours daily as per the age)
3) Think Positive, do good, be good. ...more

There is only one exercise that is safe enough for people of any age or medical condition to try. It needs no special equipment and you dont even have to set any time aside for it.
Walking is something you can do at any time. It is a great cardiovascular exercise and is often recommended by doctors because of its simplicity, low risk of injury, and adaptability to busy schedules. It is particularly handy for people who dont particularly like jogging or running. A brisk walk helps burn the same amount of calories that jogging does (approximately 100 calories).
Walking is a great sport because you can include friends, family and pets or just do it by yourself. There are benefits to having a walking partner, one of the best being motivation.
Some of the health benefits include increased cardio-respiratory (heart and lung) health, decreased body fat, decreased risk of heart disease, and increased bone strength, lower risk of injury, and improved leg and low back muscle endurance. Walk ...more
