EVERY country is a potential Islamist pro Isi anti India nation if u look at it thru the lens of Indian Govt! This could be Turkey. Syria. Jordan. Iran. Just about any country. What if Sri Lankans start embracing Al Qaeda Islam in masse? Then the analysis also holds true for Sri Lanka!

I am FULLY with th Bangladeshis on this one!

India can only flex its muscles on countries we know we can bully. But when they encounter REAL bullies- like UK nd USA- who split India and Pakistan by diplomatic force- we are as quiet as a mouse! We don't even raise the fact that USA created Al Qaeda in Afghanistan to combat SOcialist govts including India in the 80s! We are too mute.

But if it's Nepal and Bangladesh, we start giving Rambo talk.

It is an utter pity to see that our country has been cuckolded to THIS level by our govt!

All the truth may not be palatable, especially if some one else is serving it to you ! So is this case. Though what he said is truth, it was said at wrong time

BD, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina is under going an evolution towards secularism. This is being resisted by the elements described in your question and they are giving her a tough time.
I think the (supposedly private) statement made by MMS was aimed at strengthening her hands.
Immediate defensive reaction by these elements (eg Morshed Khan, Bangladesh's former minister and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami) prove that the message has achieved its purpose.
