My Whirlpool refrigerator has died, after just 5 years of service. It is not repairable as the compresser is finished as its internal electronics and god knows what else . Anyhow, I want to find a good refrigerator with at least 10 year warranty on compressor in the 600 liter category on EMI.

That's sad, have you checked with the company techinician on whether the compressor can be replaced? In that category Samsung has a few models, so do whirpool and LG. At our home in Nalanda we have model GR-J287PGHV that is spacious and has good looks. Oh, and it comes with 10 year warranty on compressor.
