The way we have learnt this raga, it shows affinity to Kalyan thaat and nothing else. P-R sangati, GRGR undulations all are used in typical Kalyan Janya ragas. However, with similar phrases, we have variations of Bilawal too, like Devgiri, but then since D is absent in Hansadhwani, not much can be read from that similarity.
