You need to write on the back of the cheque and bank Deposit Slip both
Provu Rai and Provu Basudev Rai is the same name of mine, so please credit the amount in my account and in case of any controversy, I shall be liable to refund the amount.
Signnature
Deposit the same in your bank and the amount will be credited in your account.

I do not think there will be any problem for you to encash the cheque. If the cheque is crossed, you can deposit to your account. Alternatively, you can withdraw cash by going to any branch of the bank on which it is drawn.
