Why not Metro water be supplied from Chennai city to Pallavaram-Chromepet- Tambaram belt which suffers a severe drought due to scarge, why nil ground water?

Scanty Rainfall in and around the city catchment area is one reason. Rampant commercial exploitation of water in and around Tambaram is another major reason. Many houses still have not implemented Rain Harvest system advocated by Miss Jayalalitha.
