My company is hold my salary from jan-13 due to one order lost but at that time i am on leave. I tried to communicate with my bosses, concern persons but till date i can't received any kind of negative or positive and satisfactory answer from my company and concern persons , so what to do regarding this issue, my company is pvt ltd company based at gujarat state.
A company can not with hold the salary even if it is assessed that your action was the sole reason of losing the order. They have to issue an memo and if not satisfied with your explanation for that memo, then only they can punish you with suitable punishments as per law. . So with holding the salary is illegal. If you feel you are falsely accused then try to solve it through representation through your union. Even if it does not yield fruitful results consult a lawyer and send a notice.
