Q.
I have purchased home in Dec-2009. For documentation I purchased stamp of rs 55,000/-. I filed my IT returen for FY 2009-2010 in March-2011.
Now I came to know that stamp duty is exempted from income tax U/s 80c. So, I cunsulted my CA on May-2011. He told me that I can only get it exempted in the current year only, now it is not possible.
So, can anybody advise if there is any way I can get this amount under 80c?
reference:
Upto one lakh one will have to pay tax for the remaining income. I quote below Section 80C of Income Tax Act 1961 and relevant sub Sections
80C. 13(1) In compu
