Recent Incidents in Mumbai clearly shows that some people and their groups are ready and well prepared for riots and violence at short notice of few Mins, Its not a failure of agencies But is a lack of willingness of govt , if given a free hand, Police can control and make these people learn to keep in control at least for a decade , after 10 years make them learn another lesson, for the peace for another 10 years, till Pakistan exists either these Bugs keep coming or brain wash our citizens to trouble us

In my personal opinion, though lots of Policemen were manhandled by the mob, they police did well to limit the incident to a particular part in Mumbai. It did not spread subsequently elsewhere. It was a very sensitive time - with the month of Ramzan being observed.

This emboldened the Police to go ahead and arrest scores of suspects. Now it will take its own time for conclusion of these actions.

The main thing was - there was no fall out of the violence elsewhere, no reaction, no retribution. Which is a great achievement for the police.

Suggestions were made that one of the coalition partners in the Government was aware of the impending trouble. But they did precious little to prevent it. Now putting the blame on t ...more

1) The above incident shows how India is out of sync with the rest of the world.
2) The rest of the world punishes the wrong doer whereas the modern India and its rulers reward the bad guy.
3) I really wonder whether the present ruling dispensation would actually survive the next elections without the votes of illegal immigrant Bangla deshis?
