Wajid, it seems that u have been born & brought up in a environment which teaches to criticize others instead of growing himself. I feel sorry for your upbringing. Your nature will put you in problem....so take this point. Please don't take it otherwise - it is just a precaution, that you have to take for future.... It is not the religious scripture, it is the geographical region which compells people to eat non-veg or veg item. Suppose, u r somewhere in a remote place at north pole, then u r forced to take 'Alcohol' because of cold......then is it that your religion is teaching you, NO, IT IS THE GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION AND YOUR BODY NEED.

Wajid ali . you can ask any question here on religion . you can observe here many people ask irrational questions on islam and say blah blah ....specially on islam since they do not understand islam and it's preincipals . they try to identify islam with terrorists . that's cardinal sin .you have good bad and ugly in every society but some people pick only bad guys of muslims and blame islam . but this tactics is failing since muslims know what their religion teaches and they stick to their faith better . but we reply them to clea their misunderstanding and expect other brothers also to clarify in case you have a genuine doubt . after all this forum is to intermingle and know each other better .

Wajid - Why are you seeking answers for Hindu religion. You should be satisfied with your religion. If you are not, instead of seeking answers, you should better meet religious leaders. In case, you are seeking the answer to find faults with Hindu religion and ridicule, you are no different than blood shedding terrorist friends, who do not know the civilized language of tolerence of other religions. In my view you are the soft face of your terrorist friends, who are killing innocent Indians in local trains in India and killing innocent Americans in buildings and airplanes in USA. I don't think that your Gid sent you on this earth to do this. But civilized way of life can be understood only by civilized people and you will never understand it.

Hindu scripture explains the good and bad effects of things. There are no prohibitions, No commandments or DOs and DONTs, or the threat of judgement day or wrath of God!
