All political parties are responsible for vote banks politics .Basic reason is that Indian voters are also lovers of caste, religion, region and community. They are basically greedy and become lover of those who give them something free. Even free promises without fulfilment do not annoy voters. They do not like to understand that politicians more often not make false promises on the eve of election..

Congress party appeased Muslim community for decades and won election with thumping majority. .This was realized after four decades by opposition parties and they too caught one religion or one caste or one group to create their own vote bank. BJP used Hindu, BSP used Dalit, RJD and SP Muslims and Yadav, Communists used working class and so on.
