MPCC President Mr Kripashankar & his family members deposited crores of Rs in cash in their bank a/c. Citizen of India is questioned if the amount exceeds Rs 49,000/. In this case neither the banker & nor the taxman questioned him even after various complaints. But in case of Manish Sisodia, Kiran Bedi, Ramdev baba's trust every unjusifiable enquiry is initiated. Do you think we are living in a democratic country ? What is your opinion about congress led Govt ?

No body just gets questioned because he has deposited an amount more than Rs 49000/- in an account. The rule is, a person depositing more than Rs 49000/- has to mention his/her PAN number in the deposit slip. A person can deposit crores and in the normal course nobody will question him for that. It is only in case of any grounds for suspecting the person's source of income the person will get questioned. If a person has deposited crores and the figures declared by him/her in the tax return or other financial declaration does not match with the kind of deposits made then only an inquiry is initiated.

The people in power wants everybody to toe their line, or else get enquired, may be that is why some of the firebrand politicians have started toeing their line even though basically they differ
