Yes, it is simply a disregard shown by the congress party to such great leaders of the country who have made valuable contributions to the party too. I think congress is not a national party but a one family party.

It is natural. If there is a celebration of Indian Cinema in India today do you expect Palke, Shantaram, Satyajit Ray and Hrishikesh Mukerji pictures in the advertisement. Definitely not and instead there will be pictures of Amitabh, The khans and Aishwarya etc and I dont think anybody from the regional languages at all. Same is the case with Politics too. It has no relevancy. It is just some gimmicks to show case to the top brass of Congress by its loyal servants and we need not give any advertisement about it.

Congress has always thought that the party is the personal property of Nehru family.History shows us that Nehru family has done nothing for the country but always done everything for their selfish and personal benefit. And sincce Congress is celebrating its own anniversary ,I think it has absolutely no relation with the fight for India's freedom. So just let them enjoy in their own fool's paradise!

THis is true sacrilige, Indhira Ji's pic needs to be hanging WAY up there, even if she made the dreadful mistake of enforcing emergency via police rather than da National Army. But her regime was anything but dynastical. S

Sure she got into power groomed, but then Congress isisn't only party. didn't George Bush Jr become PRez on the US and A because his Daddy George Bush Sr was ex US PRez, and his brother was Florida Governor, where he rigged elections! THat's dynastic politics too, Ramesh.

Back to topic, Indhira Gandhi went on a spree where she mass incarcerated low level bureaucrats, forcefully nationalized wealth which was blatantly used for extravaganza purposes, GANDHIANS were arrested! Many said she should have done ahimsa, who were from the Bapu camp, and she didn't spare them either. I dunno man, I should h8 her guts more than u because when my Dad was in India Govt service, during her lifetime she made sure he and a LOT of govt affiliates saw their family only like for ...more
