Q.

Modi is aspiring to be PM of India but Modi is not accepted in many parts of India even in south there is no craze of him and down in east and north east Modi has very less influence a true PM should be such that every one accepts them just like Indra Gandhi her craze was everywhere from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to Shillong but now no leader is like her charisma

This is not Presidential System, like the US. PM is elected by the elected members. One might be popular across the Indian sub-continent is not at all a parameter for him to be the Chief Executive.

PM post is not a popularity contest but a constitutional position.
Whoever fulfills the constitution requirement of having support of more than fifty percent members of Lok Sabha, can become PM
How popular were some of the past PMs, other than Mrs Gandhi?
