Q.

PUNE BLASTS ,, Serious that blasts are occurring repeatedly and the security agencies always fail to check it. This means the real criminals behind blasts and terrorist attacks are still not arrested nor held under bars,,unless real culprits are caught can we expect cessation in terror acts or as usual scapegoats will be found to hush up the matter ???????????

Terrorism is not an evil without, it is evil within. If terrorist roam in our midst as one of us it is difficult to detect them. We expect security agencies to fight them but why people do not report a suspicious activity. A terrorist carrying bombs in a haversack will never behave like a normal person. Where was that waiter's common sense. Every day security agencies tell us not to touch any object left attended, then why did he go to open it. His curiosity had better of him and he paid for it with his life. We are the eyes and ears of the security agencies. Without it they are blind and deaf.

I can understand your anger and concern but let us not leave all the job to the security agencies alone. All of us should lend a helping hand to nab such criminals who disturb peace in our nation. Let us keep our eyes and ears open and if we see anything suspicious, let us report to the police, immediately. Only then, it will be difficult for these criminal elements to continue hurting innnocent people.

It is not easy to fight terrorism.. one has to have a very strong will and political wish to fight it.. Our government has not been able to punish Kasab.. who was seen by so many people shooting everyone down.. so how do you expect them to catch unknown terrorists?

It burns me to think that these evils do carry out such nefarious activities and the intelligence is yet to crack on them. it is such a sad plight and we the people and the government are to be blames.
maosists attacks also killed more than 25 people and rather sitting idle , the forces should just enter their territories and kill those manics like one kills cockroaches.
the real culprits are those bosses sitting abroad including at pakistan , usa and uk
why are ex fbi people involved. there is more truth that it is getting disclosed.
such people shud be braught to book for the safety of india

I had been to Koren Gaon Park during the last Xmas and stayed there with a friend of mine for couple of days and visited German Bakery. I could see big police Bandobast there who were protecting Oshos establishment and Chabad House, which were the real target of attacks. But the terrorists failed to do anything there and that goes to prove that
Intelligence report was there. I think German Bakery was attacked out of frustration and that too it was a clumsy attack as they detonated the explosives at a wrong time when there was not many customers. After the bag was detected, they should have informed the police instead of trying to remove it. In that case probably the explosion could have been avoided. It sure was not a failure of the authorities it was a failure of citizens.

Suppose the investigation zero in on a person who happens to be a MLA/MP or one who gives hefty donation during election or gathers mass vote for the party.(as has recently come out from Mumbai).I for one will never blame the forces. They risk their life to nab the suspect/criminal and these SICK.ULER (secular) leaders goes to the terrorist home and condemn the forces/human right commission etc. for next election vote. PC is no deferent.

Terrorists are geting enough money from many groups established overseas. They hire people who are unemployed or who are under their influence. Anti-social elements, criminals and povrty effected people are also working for them. So this network is so wide spread that security agencies TILL DATE are not able to controle this threat to the country. This threat is so serious to our Integrity and Soverienty that if every countrymen is not aware of this and not prepare fully to fight it then the countrymen will have to face bigger challenges than these threats.

Those who run our government are the real culprits. People get so fed up with them that they prefer to support the ultras. Even a white collored office clerk like me sometimes wish to join the terrorist group to teach a lesson to the dirty police and the corrupt politicians. And to be frank, the common people are habituated to seeing the police sharing their cup of tea with the real culprits and the bastions of terrorists are getting police protection.

Its easy to abuse the government. If tomorrow you decide to kill your neighbour's child and execute your plan, what the govt. will do? Terrorists are doing the same thing where the victims have nothing to do with their motive. India is a democracy and we have an independent judiciary to punish the criminals. Those commenting on Kasab should know that basic tenets of justice demands that the accused must get an opportunity to defend.
Before asking whether terrorism will end some day, try to find out if crimes like murder, robbery, rape, theft etc. have been eliminated from our society. These crimes are being tackled since time immemorial.
