There never was any doubt that this test would not be held as per schedule. The shops, auto, taxis were closed on Sunday, the day of Bal Thackeray's funeral. However public transport like long distance trains, locals and buses were not affected at all even on Sunday. In fact some special trains were run from distant Maharashtra, special additional locals were run through out the days, many special buses were also run for the convenience of people who wanted to reach Shivaji Park. Life returned back to normalcy on Monday. The test is scheduled to start on Friday, which is no problem at all. Yes, if it would have been India-Pak match, then it would have been asking for trouble.

If MCA's office does not get ransacked and the official arrested for talking about cricket when the state is mourning then only it will be good news.
