Because the Pakistani Taliban is attempting to destabilize the US puppet government and depose it's president, Asif Ali Zardari, the widower of Benazir Bhutto. Benazir Bhutto was allowed by the Carter administration to journey to North Korea and return with her briefcase full of plans for a nuclear device after the fall of the American embassy in Tehran in 1979...voila, another third world hellhole joins the nuclear club.
