Hav seen ppl abusing dhoni in various forums....bfor he took over india was lying in 5th - 6th place.now v r no1-2.
v dont apperciate evn genuine achievment . whaddya think

They abuse him because Dhoni created a lot of expections by achieving every thing which India did not achieve.One good performance will bring back their cheers.

When your expectations are high you feel bad when they don't show consistency. You express it in words and release your disappointment. Have we not all blamed Sachin for forgoing his centuries by being out after 90s. They arise out of our love and regard for these exceptional persons. Really they are compliments to them.

In India, all cricketers are criticised until they retire, then they become Icons/role models and collect laurels and money on their deeds as Players. E.g. Srikkanth, Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, etc.
