I dont think so mainly due to two reasons i.e. (i) winning is a habit and no team would like to stop this habit before going into the semi-finals (i) I believe Pakistan is much more balanced side than India especially due to their strong bowling line-up and Australia would not want to face such a side in the final stages of the tournament.

Yes, it is true. Australia compromised to Pakistan a chance. Whereas, South Africa denied such a chance to India. It is all fevicol fixed.
