Q.

Many people think MALE-CHAUVINISM is found only in men. NO, many stereo typed women share that mentality, and they are doing more harm than men. Any say?

I am facing a situation in my work place where a very senior, married and older than me lady boss is giving me all kinds of hints
I do not know if this can be categorized as female chauvinism but it is definitely unpleasant situation for me

It exists.
With all kind of men existing, all kind of women also exist.
They doing more harm to society may not be correct , but since its women doing it it may seem so to men.

Female chauvinism is the symmetrical attitude that women are superior to men. The term female chauvinism has been adopted by critics of some types or aspects of feminism; second-wave feminist Betty Friedan is a notable example. Ariel Levy used the term in similar, but opposite sense in her book, Female Chauvinist Pigs, in which she argues that many young women in the United States and beyond are replicating male chauvinism and older misogynist stereotypes
