Heavy supper can lead to restless sleep ..so light dinner is good and supper taken early will give time for digestion affording good sleep

The body hardly gets any exercise in sleeping mode
so always advised dinner at least 2 hours in advance before going to bed
and never more than 3/4ths of normal quota.
This helps in proper digestion and reduced gastric problems.
