Will Shahrukh be able to make any difference to the Football team of Goa's Dempo football club?

The answer is obviously 'limelight' and funding.
Main reason that the successful cricket players and the game itself do not have money problems, is because Indians have been watching cricket. With or without SRK, they have been. What SRK has added to it, is the necessary financial funding to the team, attracting talent when it is not known much and cultivating it.
When it comes to football, it is a different ballgame. It is still popular game, and much easier than cricket. What is lacks is the limelight for the local players, and success of our local players and teams in the world. The competition is much more tough as the number of countries where the game is played is huge, and India ranks 164th as of June 2012. Clinching a world title is something not in anybody's weirdest imagination as of now.
So, what can SRK bring in? Awareness, and advertisements. Making heroes out of local players, which will bring in ...more

By seeing the present situation of soccer in india i don't think he will make any difference but he will definately make some money difference in his money locker for sure...........
