Except negligible rotten mangoes, all are meant for their sweetness to be enjoyed by others.....n in a similar manner , before one's life takes the shape of a book likely to be completed you , you would start sensing the ultimate sweetness of concluding part of the same as if that the whole book has already been meant for making other's life the sweetest one.....!!! its nt only with me , but i think for almost everyone....we live for others n in the process of completing the mega task , we live for self......whenever i think that if i ever become very rich , what would be my priorities....!!! The immediate priorities come in mind are like , "Uske liye yeh kar dunga, uske liye woh kar dunga....chahe woh meri beti ho, mere pita ho, mere koi kareebi inssan ho, ya koi jarooratman insaan ho...." (Just merely an example)....n perhaps this is wat life is all about....n the Almighty certainly have sent us to carry out his directions meant for the well being of each of us , to be accomplished ...more

Life is short. It will be over in the blink of an eye. And to make matters worse, you have no idea, when your life is going to end. A life spent helping others is a life well spent. And when your time comes to an end, there will be no regrets because you have used your life-time well. You have made a contribution. Make sure you live your life in a way that will allow you to pass away with no regrets. Make compassion, love, patience and energy the main pillars of your existence. If you do all these, you will leave behind a wonderful legacy, Anu :-)

All acts are selfish acts, there is no such thing as altruism.Every act you perform is done with your opinions based on your belief. No one can die for you no matter what one says. No one can live for you no matter what one says. If you jump in front of a bullet intended for some one else and to save a life you do so because that is your belief. It is not even a sacrifice. You are only saying that the ideology of giving up your life isa greater belief then to not. It is a belief that you have bought into which holds a greater value to you than the idea of living. Not that you tke your own life seriously but less seriously than saving someones life, but none the less you do it for your self and thus it is is till a selfish act. We cannot avoid doing things selfishly.

The idea to help others is still a selfish act even if you believe it is for altruistic reasons. You may believe it because you do it because that is how you hope you will be treated.Wanting to do unto others as you hope ...more

Nobody the purpose of this life. I dont know if the souls hear what good is said about them after death! May be many spiritual leaders have given opinions on the subject but it is debatable. One needs to live for the body he/she is carrying. Any injury whether external or internal the body it suffers for itself. Any good done if its appreciated and body gets elated. So I live for my self and to an extant for others.....but I dont know the purpose!!!!
