These days long term investment is risky because of so many factors. I am not saying go for short term then. Try to buy a share when you think it is safe by taking advicie and a deep study of that partcilar scrip and invest in it as long term. But when it rises by 10% to 15%, then sell it. No need keeping it for long term as already you are in profit, then go for somether scrip.
