The reason for such division &fragmention is due to Indira Gandhi &Congress.Congress is interested in Power by adopting divide and rule policy. Now,Congress has become so weak that it is not able to face election alone. Two party system will only be possible when such parties are banned.

All evils mentioned by you have their roots in the Congress and the leaders who, after independence, started lusting after the Delhi throne. Pandit Nehru, if he had really wished, could easily have put an end to all this- such was the mandate and support that he got from the country and her masses. But what did he do ? While prasing Mustafa Kemal of Turkey, when the time came for him to foolw suit, he got cold feet and preerred to run the GOP on dynastic, caste-ridden, lines, fostering such corrupt politicians like Pratapsingh Kairon in the Punjab. Any surprise that our great nation is still confronted with these centuries-old diseases ?

Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan has lost his vote bank and his is no more enjoying the image as well-wisher of backward class. He became Minister in central cabinet and fully ignored the voters of not only his constituency but also his state.
Similarly Mulayam and Amar Singh in UP understand very well that Mayawati is now having upper hand in politics. Congress party hurt by the action of SP has thought it better to face the election alone than to accept 3 or 4 seats out of 80 seats in UP.
All these leaders are highly egoist and their parties namely RJD, LSP and SP are based on no ideology but the personal image of its top leader. People of the
