List of Books for the IIT JEE
If you are a prospective JEE candidate, you might find this page useful I've listed some books which I used for the IIT JEE, some which I know my classmates at IIT used for prepping, and some which I think can be used effectively for the JEE. I am unsure of the publishers, after all, it's been some time since I took the JEE :) .
Mathematics
Calculus
Integral Calculus, Shanti Narayan, S.Chand & Co.
Differential Calculus, Shanti Narayan, S.Chand & Co.
A Problem Book in Mathematical Analysis, G.N.Berman, CBS Publishers
Problems in Calculus of one Variable, IA Maron, CBS Publishers
( Above books are collections of problems)
Calculus, Piskunov, MIR Publishers
Calculus by many Russian authors
( Not sure if Russian books are available easily. These can be
used as theoretical foundations).
Algebra, Discrete Maths, Probability
Higher Algebra, Hall & Knight, S.Chand & Co.
