Uh- no. Money doesn't grow on trees.
As long as there isin't anarchy, there needs to be income tax. I mean, governance of a nation requires more than lofty ideals & values or morals. It requires money- and IT is the backbone of it.
What would you rather have? A country run & governed by MNCs & a weak "puppet" gov? Try Madagascar.
Income tax-less govt = anarchy.
If you want to live it by the hills or remote areas where barter econo takes place, you are mroe than free to move there. Quite a few placesl ike that in India. But don't fantasize urban lifestyle & 2,600 per month electricity bill BI MONTHLY (1,300 P/mo) for using 4 room lights, A/C, fridge, elec. heater, home ent, etc.
W/o income tax, sure you get to save on 1 lakh a year on income tax, if you make 5-6 lakh plus (on current account basis), but oh well, costs of services will skyrocket the hell out of, to a point, where prices charged by private firms...esp for things like elec ...more
