I do not know why media has to portray the negative picture always, checked few channels this morning and noticed that administration is trying their bit in whatever way possible. Serious cases have been refered to Lucknow as well. It only appears to be lack of disaster manangement skills to tackle such issues efficiently.

The amount of rush that comes to Kumbh Mela is in such big proportions that it is literally impossible to attend properly to all the victims as the quality standards of govt hospitals are well known to every one. In addition the shortage of staff and the lethargic attitude of the para medical staff who would have become nervous due to this sudden over burden may be the reasons for the victims ire, but this is how things happen in many cities' govt hospitals. But the govt hospitals of Mumbai give great services to patients as has been witnessed not just by me in individual cases but during the many number of times this city has been at the receiving end of terrorist attacks
