Because we're omnivores which gives us more versatility in diet. Some varieties of bears for example are herbevores, others prefer fish, and others prefer land animal meats. Omnivores are known 2 have versatile diets.

Tiger's a carnevore. It eats human flesh, dog flesh, deer flesh etc.
Elephant also has a varied herbivore diet.

Human flesh is not the naural food of the tiger.
Only when it is very hungry or too old to hunt for its natural prey, will it eat human flesh.
Human beings are lactose intolerant. They cannot digest milk of cows and buffaloes.
Only mothers milk for the infant children. And there is a big debate
whether humans are carnivores or not. And alchohol is usually, man made. So, to indulge in it or not,
is a very big question. We should know when to stop.

There characters are defined Vertically and ours horizontally. Remember Flat organisations V/s Silos? Same. We have a bit of everything across. After all, we evolved after those species and have carried a bit of all those species who were born before us!
