Hazaaron Khwaishen aisi, ke Har Khwahish pe dum nikle
Bahut nikle mere armaan, lekin phir bhee kam nikle
Muhabbat me nahin hai ,farak jeene aur marne kaa..
Usi ko dekhkar jee lete hain, jis kafir pe dum nikle..
Hazaaron Khwaishen aisi, ke Har Khwahish pe dum nikle
Bahut nikle mere armaan, lekin phir bhee kam nikle
.....there is no end to them....desires and wishes...attainable or unattainable......reasonable or unreasonable....
one would lie to onself,if he/she claims to be satisfied with what he or she has...I love these lines by Mirza Ghalib, which describe the conflict so beautifully,so poignantly...we may have wish fulfillment all the time, but that one ,which seems farthest, seems to act like a mirage...and one keeps on chasing it..like Mrig Trishna.

No, not all desires are reasonable and attainable........, but, still, we love indulging in the same as we can gratify our frustrated desires through imaginary achievements in day-dreams...............

It is Sir because as I have said before too in one or two answers, the ability to stay satisfied in our desires can only be achieved if we understand that living in prosperity is actually being happy with what we have than what we want to dream about having.

Yes, i have limited desires and it can be easily attainable. Moreover, i never ask for stars or anything like that. whateever i am having or going to have it is upto Gods grace.
