On July 11, 2011, when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh directed Roy to visit the site of derailment of the Guwahati-Puri Express in Assam, he openly defied him. He was relieved of the Railway portfolio in a cabinet reshuffle on July 12 the same year
Now he is back to his old seat ! Bizzare or mockery ??

Mockery,yes.Coalition compulsions .Poor PM.My sympathy is with him.Mukul Roy will continue to defy him n will be guided by autocratic Mamata.Bad luck for the country.
