Kite Flying Day(I mean with flying kite only) (Only celebrated in Gujarat or in other states also?) Do you like this festival?

Kite flying is not very common in Goa but we have been flying kites in our village Santa-Cruz near Panaji since my young days. I like kite flying and would like to participate in the festival.

Gujarat is celebrating it as a state festival I dont think any other state is giving that much importance to this event

I enjoy it well but some time it make me upset to watch injurd bird by kite dori,two day back a scootrist mother she was going to pick her 4yr old son from school at surat died by kite dori on the spot after cutting neck
