It's a mere wastage of money to show someone's power and position. What is spent on such weddings is never ever the hard earned money. It's a National loss, and there are already Government Orders on such wasteful expenditures. These category of people's expenditure rises to meet their income (which is from illegal sources).

Wedding is an celebration and that happens once only in ones life time and that will be remembered everytime in there life time.it isnt an advertisement of their wealth its a unique proud tradition of indians to celebrate happiness in that form. and nobody checks in wether its a real gold or diamond they wearing.

We believe in show off on marriages that is the problem ,as that amount which has been wasted can be given to the couple for their benefit
