He is right as every now and then one or the other film is banned screening ,if it is attack on religion still one has the right to express it in his way ,as in hindi film too many times this sadhu and saint are shown bad ,but hindus are big hearted and take it easy

Crores of people like him are settled in India, since pre-historic ages.
Anybody hell is at liberty to change his/her citizenship. India may care a fig.

If qna thinks it is secular - It does not become one.

I am not sure why Kamal Hasan said that and whether he seriously meant it. Venerable actor/director he is, all concerned should have enough patience to listen to his perspective. Without any prejudice to his comment about secular credential of India in real terms, I venture to say, secularism in India may be a the official way of administering the country, but it is practiced more in words. And if Kamal Hasan finds a secular country, other than India, we would be interested to know something about practice of secularism there.

In his film, some comment on MFHUssain's strictures are removed. other parts too are in danger.. He says if it is a reality, why should it not be shown. and Govt says why risk a religious ho-halla. This means if the home minister says anythingagainst one section, it should be accepted.. others have no right. This is not secularism.. I think his annoyance is well founded. Why the government so timidly gives a nelsons eye to any remark by one section ? Are they not spreading a wrong message?
I wish Kamal hassan is taken in a right spirit.

Saying so many things are very easy but let him prove that example is better than precept, then only he can understand what he really means...!
