Not too "hard" or "soft" but just not cohesive. The PM is made out of literally 10000s of regional reps if u look closely. PM banks on state govts who bank on local REGIONAL heads :)

And has no soverignty in decision making & in leading. SOme NATIONAL programmes may require STATE #12 (whatver that is lol) to sacrifice a dip of 8% in 5 years GDP to get NATIONAL GDP up to +5%. WOuld such progs b possible in India? Then ur things like ability to enforce ur decisions become vague.

There is no cohesion in a parliament house session at all, which induces a MAMMOTH waste of time. So, when5 Chinese batallions are marching in @ full speed, there is nothing we'd be able to do if Indian Army forward posts get overwhelmed. If we had something like mass conscription, u'd have Gandhian elements leading Satyagrahas saying "Scheduled casts are taken 4 cannon fodder while brahmanas lie in peace in the confines of Army HQ in Delhi" or somehing.

We don't make it any easier on self -D either ...more
