It is like asking which drop of water is best out of say full bottle.
However, there are many rare gems that we received in her golden voice specially in her earlier days.
Rula Ke Gaya Sapna...
and Eh Mere Watan Ke Logon....

Lata Mangeshkar is still so young, so vibrant and so full of vigour (I mean her music). She is my favourite - there is not a day I spend without listening to some of her songs. Its hard to say which song for there are many.
The songs which I like the most are the following :
Mere Naina Sawan Bhadon (film:Mehbooba, actress: HemaMalini)
The song really takes one to his past life - in imagination! No one could have done justice to this song except her.
Yeh Zindagi usiki hai (film:Anarkali, actress:Beena Roy).
I like this song for its meaning- perhaps a sordid reflection of life.
Bahon me chale aao (film: Anamika, actress:Jaya Baduri)
Jaya looked gorgeous in this song. Lataji has a kind of masti in her voice in this song. ...more
